Speaker 1:

On today's Monday minute I want to talk about how much do you love your business? And here is the thing the energy that we show up with when we truly love our business is going to be so different than if we're literally just doing it to make money. It's going to show up differently in how we show up in our content. It's going to look differently in how we show up when we're doing a masterclass. It's going to look differently when we show up we literally just type a post. It's going to look so different each way. And so I want you to think about this, because I think this is really important.

Speaker 1:

I was in on a call with my mentor and somebody in the group said we're just talking about how and love they were with their business. They've been in business for like 18, 20 years, right, and they were talking about how much they love their business. And she said I love my business so much I want to go to bed with it and I want to rub it all over my body Like I'm that obsessed and in love with my business. And I'm like, okay, maybe I don't want to rub it all over my body, but like how, in love with you, in love with your business? Are you right, like, are you in love with the results that you get your audience? Are you in love and obsessed with the transformations that they get to have? Like, think about it, like, how you know, obsessed? Some people look at obsessed as a very strong, like negative word. I don't. I love being obsessed with things, but I think you get to decide, like, how convicted are you about your business? How in love with your business are you? How in love with the results you get your audience? Are you like that is the real? I think that's the real flex or whatever that the thing is, that people say, right, like, I think that is so important, so important to grow a business.

Speaker 1:

I'm not saying you're going to feel like this 24 hours a day, seven days a week. I'm not saying that. But I'm also asking you to reconnect, right. What lights you up about your business? When was the last time you had a client win? When was the last time somebody said I would not have been able to do this without you? When's the last time somebody said, oh my gosh, this like blew my mind? Yes, they have to do the work, but you get to facilitate that change right. And so ask yourself when was the last time that this happened?

Speaker 1:

This is why I write down my wins every single day because we forget the good stuff, because our brains are wired to remember the bad things, because our brains are trying to protect us and they don't want us to ever feel that feeling again. So we love good stuff. We don't need to remember that we got to remember the bad stuff. So we have to purposely remember the good times, the good things, the wins. I share them on social media. Sometimes, in the moment that they happen, I go talk about it because it's important. But you know what else? I share it on social media. I guess what? It's there in my archives, it's there in my reminders.

Speaker 1:

When I look at my memories the next year right, and maybe I'm having a really low day and like, oh my God, I totally forgot about this. And it also helps remind us that we are good enough. We all have those moments of insecurity. We all have those moments of imposter syndrome. We all have those moments of why would somebody want to learn from me? But I want to tell you when you reconnect with your why, when you reconnect with your love, when you reconnect with the passion, when you reconnect with the conviction, it helps get through those moments a lot quicker and a lot easier. So where can you tap back in to that love? Where can you tap back in to that passion? Where can you tap back in to the joy and the feeling of being so fulfilled when your clients get those results? You get to decide what that looks like, what I believe is closer than you think. You just get to shift your mindset and remember what it was like when you started this business.
