Speaker 1:

I'm a big believer that we maximize every single thing that we do, and here's what I mean by that. So I put this post on my personal page today and I think it's really important, because I think a lot of times we think, oh, write a book or do this or do that and you're going to make so much money, and I just, first of all, let's be for real here what the averages are, and then how can we maximize that and do more than what the average is? So, number one the average self-published author sells about 250 books. Now I make 521, I think, off every book that I sell. So obviously that can look different to everyone, but that's around $1,200 if you sell 250 books, not $1,200 a month, not $1,200 a year, $1,200 total. The second thing is that affiliate marketers, on average, make less than $300 a month. Is that extra spending cash? Yes, is that great for some people? Yes, but can you maximize that? Absolutely. The average influencer makes less than $354 a month, no matter how large their audience is. Now how can we maximize things like this, whether we want to be an author, whether we want to be an affiliate marketer, whether we want to be an influencer, whether we want to sell our own things. It is visibility, my friends.

I think three key things for all of these is key Visibility, type messaging and being known for one thing. Neil Patel just did a study and he actually did it about influencers and he was talking about how some of them have millions of followers but they're not making any money because they're all over the place, and that was even his suggestion. If they could be known for one thing or they can narrow down their focus and who they're talking to, it's going to blow their business out of the water, blow their influencer life out of the water. If they could just pick one thing and be focused on that one thing. And I think this scares a lot of people because they think, oh my gosh, you put me in one thing. I can't do everything. You can absolutely do everything, but be known for one thing. Be known for one thing so many times that people know exactly what you're known for and build on that over and over and over. But your visibility can maximize what you're going to do.

Speaker 1:

For example, I had a book launch. I would say it was a very soft launch. I had no plans to make a big deal out of this book. I just threw it out there. See what people thought about it. It was like my practice book and it was spent probably about a week, maybe 10 days, on and off going with this other book at the number one spot for the best new releases.

Speaker 1:

That's huge, that I have to give visibility. The credit for that. I have to give visibility. Yeah, I'll give my type messaging. Yeah, I'll give my being known for one thing the visibility that I show up. I have built an audience of raving fans. I have built people who like, know and trust me and so, because I have chosen to show up so consistently, that has created that.

Speaker 1:

So I'm not here selling programs. I'm not here selling a book. I'm not here selling whatever, just selling. I'm giving, I'm providing, I'm doing free things, I'm doing low cost things, but I am visible and I'm giving massive amounts of value every opportunity I get. That is how I will always continue to do.

What did I say? The title of this was called I love maximizing everything. Yeah, so this is like me maximizing that. Why am I just going to go do something right but not do all the work that goes with it? Because the visibility that I put out there into the world doesn't just help the next course or the next program. It can help me a year from now If somebody finds me and they are nurtured right for a year and decide to say yes to something that I'm doing.

My dog just found a way to get in here after I blocked her to not come in here, so I think that's funny. This is live video friends, but it's like. It's like this I told this story at one of my inner circle members she, she, I noticed we were friends. I was like how have we been friends for two years? I just met you like a year ago and she goes oh, I stalked you Like I didn't say anything but I was watching and I'm like what if I would have said nobody's bye, right, what if I quit showing up in that year? She wouldn't have continued to be nurtured and she wouldn't have bought and went all the way at my value ladder in seven months. So it took her a year to pay $7 for something which is the program we're talking about right now, the Visibility Explosion Week. Then she went my entire value ladder in seven months. This is huge people.

Speaker 1:

But we give up because nobody's watching our videos. We give up because nobody's buying. We give up all these things when, literally, we just get to show up, be known for one thing. Tighten our messaging and maybe your messaging's not tight right now, but guess what? Keep doing it, it'll get tighter. Learn from the best, it'll get tighter. And maybe you're like I cannot be known for one thing, chrissy, it's gotta be two things. Okay, pick two things, but narrow your focus because it's gonna help you in the long run. The thing is is that we feel lack when we have to narrow ourselves, but we don't understand, because when we narrow ourselves, we actually have, we create so much more abundance For us, for our people. It's just like this huge abundance, like domino effect, that happens when you are known for one thing. All right, so we can maximize everything that we do by showing up, getting visible, tightening our messaging and being known for one thing.

Speaker 1:

So what is your next step? What is the next thing that you are gonna work on? Because there's no, I'm gonna have a launch. There's no, I'll say no to tact. At the same time, there's no, I'm gonna sell something or I'm gonna write a book, but I'm gonna hide until that happens. No, I am not allowing you to do that. I love you too much. I want your success. I want you to feel success right, whatever that looks like to you. But I know that it starts with visibility. My friend I know it knows. It starts with people knowing exactly who you are, what you can do for them and how you can serve and support them.
