I create what I like to call "unique containers for growth." It's about creating that sweet spot where blending different containers and ideas creates a place that bring me joy. In this episode, I peel back the curtain on the nurturing both the personal and the professional, and how venturing beyond your comfort zone into the arms of diverse experiences can serve and create a beautiful evolution in your containers.

Speaker 1:

This week I am in Orlando with the visible inner circle and I have to say that being around these humans makes me just want to be better, not just for myself, but for them as well, and I believe that there's nothing that can compare to in-person. Now we can get pretty close with the online space, but being in a house with I think there will be 11 of us total for several days is just a game changer. There are opportunities to have group conversations, right Like everybody together. There are opportunities to have sidebar conversations, two to three people at a time. There are opportunities to have one-on-one conversations with me, and so I can get to know my clients even on a deeper level. I've met all of them except one, so I'm super excited that I will have met everyone in person in my inner circle except one person, but I'm gonna make that happen sometime soon. So if she's listening, just hope she knows that. But anyhow, and I just think it's so special, it's just so special. Yes, we're real and we're human and we're on video and we're visible and we're doing all these things. But being real life with someone, if you can make it possible, do it. That's all I'm gonna say.

Speaker 1:

I originally had two in-person events throughout a year with my inner circle scheduled, and about a year and a half ago they really wanted more in-person. They got so much done they felt like a million bucks and I was like, okay, let's do four a year and let's do that. And they were game and so we decided to have one out of town. And so it's great, because the in-person events locally what can happen is, if you live locally to me, it's very easy to run home, get distracted. You know there's a lot of things going on, but when we all travel together, nobody's going anywhere. You might have to go take a phone call, but you're not going anywhere, you're staying there. And so the vibe is just totally different when everybody has to travel to get to a place, versus the majority of us are locals. So it's a different vibe and I love when we come together because there's a couple of things that I do, and so if you ever wanna run a retreat or curious about what I do, the first thing I ask is what are your expectations for our time together?

Speaker 1:

Like, what do you wanna get out of? What do you wanna walk away feeling? What do you wanna walk away having completed? And I think that sets the tone. And yes, everybody can have a different answer, but I'm just gonna say this I feel like, if you are really in tune with that, that you can pretty much make it all happen.

Speaker 1:

Right, you can pretty much make it all happen, and I also love having one-on-one time with everyone. I feel like it just adds that additional intimate level. And then also masterminding together, right, like having conversations together, asking the group a question, and so there's so many positives when you get together in this type of situation. And the funny thing is is that I always I love over delivering and I always wanna make sure that anybody that comes feels like it's worth their time, right, and so when I feel like, why didn't do as much as I could have done? Right, but that's not what people want, then you've also gotta set with yourself on that right, because obviously I'm gonna give them what they want, because they took the time to travel, right and so. But I think what happens is, instead of me standing up teaching a whole group something, it ends up being a little bit more individualized, that I'm teaching and I'm giving them what they need in the moment, and also reviewing content and creating content and reviewing sales pages and helping brainstorm on what the next offer is, and so there are so many little things, but they're very strategic to each person individually and that also gets to be very, very beautiful in its own right. So have I talked you into finding an in-person event to go to? Have I talked you into finding a way to get in-person? I just think it's really, really important, and one of my goals is to start having more in-person events, even outside of my inner circle, because I do love and miss that connection and I've always wanted to at least have them locally. But I think there's a lot of opportunities that are going to open up in the coming years because I see the opportunity there and I want to make sure that I'm making time for it, because we do have this crutch where it can be very, very easy to do things online, but it's a little bit more work, right.

Speaker 1:

An effort to do it in person, because not only do you have to find a venue and and and feel at least enough that you know the seats. That it's enough to, let's say I don't know if I want to say make it worth your time, because that sounds gross, but make it worth everybody's time, right, because there is. There is value and I'm paying for something, right? So I'm going to go and I'm going to get everything I can, whereas, oh, this is really cheap, let me buy this. Oh yeah, I don't really feel good. I only paid this much, for there's no reason for me to go. It's not, I'm not waste, I'm not losing that much money, right?

Speaker 1:

So there is that energy exchange that I believe, and so it can be tricky, because, even though most people do want in-person events, it's very hard to get people to actually show up. So there is this like balance of it all, right. So I do love doing it for my programs, I do love being able to include additional people when it, when it can work out or when it can happen. But I will say this again in-person is a different vibe, in-person is a different energy. If you can find a way to make it happen, make it happen if you want to come to one of our events. We do have one spot left in the visible inner circle as of the recording of this podcast, but I will keep this container small and intimate because it's worked so well. There is so much support, there's so much community, there is so much love for each other and cheering on for each other and feeling for each other when things don't go like the way that we plan, and so that, to me, is more important than having a mastermind full of 20, 30, 40 people, because we've had 24 people in there. But I can see where the retention lies is because of the intimacy, because of the small group setting, and I think that is beautiful. And so, again, this is just a lesson.

Speaker 1:

This is a quick lesson to throw in at the end. You don't have to create what everybody else is creating. You can create what you want to create, and my best advice is to find outside of you what you've been in like, get out of the the one thing that you've been doing. Find other ways. Unless your coach, unless your, your mentor, is like in putting themselves in a lot of containers, like because I'm sure they're gonna bring those to the container that you're in.

Speaker 1:

But that's one thing that I love doing is not only tip for the education and the learning and other containers and the growth and the stretching, but also what else is possible that I don't even know about, that I've never even thought about, that I can implement and bring into my containers. And that's one of my favorite things that I've learned, because I have pulled the pieces that I love the most out of containers and that if I could create my perfect container for me to go in, that's what I've turned pretty much all my containers into. So just a little added thought there at the end. But in person is amazing and, yeah, I just hope that you get a chance to experience it as a business owner for sure.
