Speaker 1:

Who were you betting on at last night's Super Bowl? Who were you hoping would win? Who did you have faith in that would win? I asked this in an email and I gave you the options of the Chiefs, the 49ers, taylor Swift or Hesher. And then I added or yourself. And I think a lot of times it's easy, and whether you're a football fan or not normally I'm not a football fan at all, so I'm just gonna throw that out there but whether you're a football fan or not, it's so easy to put our faith in someone else. It's so easy to put our evidence Like they've won all season, or they sell out stadiums, or they have a Vegas residency, like whatever right, like we put our faith and our evidence in something else instead of realizing that we ourselves are not a gamble, we're truly an investment.

Speaker 1:

About a year ago, I have a current client who came into my world She'd actually been stalking me, lurking, whatever you want to call it for about a year before and she joined the Visibility Explosion Bootcamp which we have starting again a week from today, and she joined that. She immediately went all the way through my value ladder. Like over a seventh of a period. She went to the highest group program that I have, which is the Visible Inner Circle, and during that time she shifted her business model. She got so much clarity she really started nailing down her messaging. She got extremely visible, like probably one of my most visible clients that I have. She had a sold out launch. She did so many things during this time. We actually got to meet her last week for the first time in person, cause she doesn't live in Columbus, where a lot of us live, but it was a beautiful, beautiful journey, right.

Speaker 1:

Had she decided to continue to lurk my page and not take the action to say yes to herself, would she be where she's at today? I don't know the answer to that. I don't know the answer to that. I can't foretell the future, but the point is is that she did, she bet on herself, she realized she was an investment, not a gamble, and she realized if I want people to place their trust in me, then I've got to do something for myself, I've got to put myself out there, I get to invest in myself.

Speaker 1:

And so a lot of times again, we don't say yes to things because we know ourselves and we know we don't follow through and maybe that's true for you, because it used to be true for me. But at some point you get to the point where you're like, okay, this is no longer who I am. I am not wishy-washy when it comes to stuff. I am not. This might happen, it might not happen. I am all in. And somebody asked about this the other day, about the feeling of all in is individual to you. All in today for me looks different than it did on Sunday, right. So it's very individual, but I'm all in in that moment, with the all in, 100%. Whatever that looks like I can give that day and that's okay.

Speaker 1:

So the question is do you believe, without a doubt, that there are people out there that you can serve and support? Do you believe, without a doubt, there are people out there that need or desire what you have to offer? Do you believe, without a shadow of a doubt, that there is a ripple effect, that when you help one person, they can tell someone, or they can change their mindset, or they can shift their mindset and they can help other people. That's the beautiful thing about personal development. It's a personal thing, beautiful thing about personal growth. But it could start as getting healthy, it could start as shifting a mindset. It could start with having a win. It could start with just reaching a little goal right. Whatever we do, people can continue to have a ripple effect. We get to believe that first. We get to believe and know that we have the evidence first. And when we can do that, it truly makes believing that you're an investment versus a gamble that much easier, and it helps you bet on yourself above and beyond everything else.
