There is a true cost to invisibility and I want you to see what it is because I think a lot of times we think as long as I'm getting on a video, as long as I'm showing up on social media, I'm visible. It's very similar to, you know how people say I'm busy? Like everybody's busy all the time. Everyone is busy, but busy doesn't equal productive. And this is the same thing that is so true. when it comes to being visible. Just because you're visible doesn't mean you're visible. You could actually be very visible, but also at the same time, be very invisible. And so we are gonna talk about that today because I know there are so many people that are feeling this right now, especially in the climate that we're in, and I want to support you to help you see where the holes are in your visibility strategy, help you stop hiding whatever part of your business that you're currently hiding. and help you see how you can get out of this and shift your marketing in all of this. Okay, so that being said. You can be posting and still be hiding. And the reason I know this, I have been visible consistently since 2018. Consistently since 2018. And I also know in 2023, something happened in my life that caused me to hide, that caused me not to show up in the full potent self. that I am. It caused me to water everything down because I didn't want to draw too much attention to myself because I didn't want to answer questions about the thing that happened. And I thought if I just... Tiptoed. If I just played it safe. No one would notice me. No one would ask me questions. No one would ask for the tea and I could skate on by. There was also a lot of hurt and pain behind that. That's not what today's video is about. And so I don't want to dwell on this. want to move forward, but I want you to understand that I, I get it when things happen in your life or in your business, when you want to cower and you want to hide and you, you want to show up because that's what you do. mean, I'm I called myself the visibility queen. Of course I had to show up, right? However, there is a potent way to show up. There is a safe way to show up. And the safe way to show up is pretty much still being invisible. Because this is one of the things I noticed back in 2016 when I was creating content and 2017 when I was getting on video, I was creating very social content. Meaning I was visible, but I wasn't drawing people in like I could. because I didn't want anybody to dislike me. I didn't want anybody to hate on me. I didn't want to be canceled. I don't know if they were canceling people back then, but I didn't want any of that. And so I was very, very safe with everything. The thing is, is that again, there is a missed opportunity because visibility is an activity. But if we don't mean it and we're doing it to just check a box, that's what it shows up as. to the online space. This is not 100%, right? But I am gonna say if the most time, if most of the time you're showing up to check a box or just saying, I got visible today, you're not gonna get the results that you desire. So when we look at content, when we look at videos, how many people, if you're watching this live or replay or listening to the audio, answer to yourself, shout it out. have a ton of drafts, have a ton of recorded videos that have never seen the light of day. And if I don't call you out right now, that's never gonna happen. You're never gonna show those videos to anyone. So we want you to think about every saved draft video, every video that stays on your phone is a life you didn't have an opportunity to impact, a life that you didn't have an opportunity to change. Because you decided, that your fear was bigger than the potential that that video has. Plain and simple. So we're start right with true invisibility, right? So I want you to imagine all of those videos. Look at them. Like think about the number and your reels and your TikTok drafts and the videos on your phone. How many of them have not been posted? And how many times did you watch it and just like pick it apart thinking it's not good enough? That's a life you didn't have an opportunity to change. Those are opportunities that are buried in a draft folder in your phone. They're hiding. The next thing I want you to think about is if you created something specifically an offer, right? We're talking about selling. If you created something that you believe deep down inside, transform someone's life. If you believe that uh it can transform their life, can facilitate change in their life. Like you are so convicted about this and you decide not to talk about it. Your silence is stealing someone's future. Because the potentiality, if you believe without a shadow of a doubt that that offer can change someone's life and you decide not to talk about it too much because you don't want to annoy your audience, that offer is hiding. It is not getting the spotlight it deserves. Three posts about your offer is not enough. Six posts about your offer is not enough. Nine posts about your offer isn't enough. The rule of seven no longer applies in today's marketplace. You are in a sea of noise on the internet. We watch about eight full length, uh is it full length movies a day? That's how much information is coming at all of us. And you posted about your offer once today and you expect somebody to remember that? Come on, you can't even remember all this stuff that you saw online today. So what makes you think that they're automatically, that's being very arrogant, assuming they're gonna remember you putting your offer out one time. or three times or 10 times. You know, I read this uh or I did this research about how people, the first time they see something, they're like, that looks cool. They move on. The second time they see something, they're like. I like the way they talked about it in that way. Very interesting. The third time. Oh, I think I'm gonna buy that. The fourth time. I wonder if I'm too late. Are the doors closed yet? Gets distracted. The fifth time. Again, do you see what happens? We all have so many distractions that if you're not talking about your offer enough, you're not gonna be able to change people's lives. If they cannot purchase from you because you are hiding your offers, and I'm sorry, if you've not talked about your offer enough, you're hiding it, it's not getting the spotlight it deserves. You're doing your audience a disservice. If I don't show up in my full potency and my full conviction and talk about uh the offer we just had, which was visible at in demand. If I don't talk about momentum in May, which is the thing that I've done, this is the third year in a row, right? And how it can transform your life. If I choose to hide that and not talk about it and nobody shows up and nobody buys that's on me. That's on me. And guess what? If I annoy you because I talk about it too much, you're probably not my person anyhow. and you get to adopt that same mindset with your audience as well. The other thing that I see people being invisible is because they're diluting their message. When you dilute your message, you're literally, it's like delaying your destiny, delaying what you desire, delaying your dreams. When you water down your voice, even unintentionally, let's say you use AI, let's say you use templated content. I love AI by the way, not gonna say anything like I do, but it cannot control everything that you do. Your voice gets to be heard. When you choose not to speak, and I'm going to specifically talk about face to cam video because I have 10 X to my Instagram in the past 28 days from this. have 98 % of what I've posted has been face to cam. have 30 times my YouTube 98%, like 98%. I would say 2 % is like reels with audio. The rest is all me face to cam talking, looking directly into my audience's eyes and saying what I have to say. So when you water your message down, whether you are utilizing and letting AI take over your voice in text to post or carousels or whatever, you rob people of the real impact. When you are choosing not to look them in the eye, look through the camera at them and tell them exactly how you feel and show them the conviction and show them the confidence and show them the solution that you have available. So I want you to go look at your last three posts. I did this challenge in visible on demand last week. They had to go look at more than three, but they had to look and really audit their voice. They had to audit their texts. They had to audit who and how they showed up in the online space. We can't prove if we don't look at it. I know it's uncomfortable. We're gonna talk about that in a second. But it is uncomfortable to re-watch your videos. But how do you improve if you never re-watch them? Not saying we're here to be perfect, but we're here to help transmit a message from our face, right? Our mouth, our voice, through the camera to our audience. The next thing is comfort is the enemy of growth. That's what we were just talking about, right? So comfort on video, comfort in pricing, comfort in messaging, your hiding. If you're not stretching yourself on video, if video is so comfortable to you and you're not doing anything to stretch yourself, guess what? You're missing out. Because if you're comfortable, they're probably bored. Your pricing should grow with you as you grow unless you're stagnant and you're not growing. Your messaging should grow as you grow. It should be refined over and over and over. You should be more vulnerable in your video content. You should have more depth in your video content. You should have more of a leadership edge in the way that you show up. How many people are doing this? How many people aren't doing this? How many people haven't even looked at a video they created for two years? It's time to tap back in. When you play it safe, and I played it safe, I totally get this, I've played it safe, and I've also went really, really, played on my edge and taken big risks. And the thing is, when I play safe, I get safe results. Playing safe means I'm really comfortable on this video. Donuts, check a box. It's just a video. It's just a video. I don't feel anything. It's just a video. I got a script. Here's what I'm going to say. That's playing it safe. without allowing your stories to come out, without allowing your heart to come out. It's really not just what you don't say. It's the activation, the confidence, the conviction, the passion, whatever you wanna call it that's behind all the words that come out of your mouth when you're looking at the screen or looking at the camera. You don't have to be perfect. I've messed up a lot on this video and said the wrong thing and corrected myself. And I will continue to do that. The next thing is your audience is being trained by your consistency or your absence. Meaning every day you don't show up consistently, you're teaching your audience not to expect anything from you and you're teaching them not to trust you. They can't build trust with somebody that's not there. True visibility is a promise that you make every day you show up. Again, remember that thing I said at the beginning? Would you show up if it could change someone's life? Even if you didn't know about it. No one's told me no. So we're just going to assume you're saying, of course I will show up. Of course I want to impact people's lives. Of course I want to influence people's lives. Of course. Yes. Of course I want to do that. The other thing that I found out is that invisibility doesn't protect you. Hiding doesn't protect you. Hiding your message, hiding your voice, playing small, watering yourself down. It does not protect you. I know this, I've been there. It postponed your purpose. You think that hiding protects your heart, it protects your ego, it protects your dreams, it protects you from being canceled, protects you from being hated on. Let me tell you, people can still hate on you. People hate on people for any reason. They don't really need anything. They don't like the outfit you have on. They don't like the way you do your lipstick. They don't like the way your hair looks. Come on, people can hate on you for anything. So why are you trying to please those people? Those are not our people. When we choose invisibility by way of not being the full potential and showing up as a full potential that we can, ah it's going to delay everything you've been praying for, everything that you've been desiring, everything that you've dreamed for. Who wants to keep doing that? I love that Myron Golden talks about this because it's the next thing I want to talk about is disruption follows intention every single time. When you set a goal to get visible, to raise your prices, to launch an offer, expect disruption. He talks about how in the Bible, followed, like everything is followed with disruption, every intention. David being told he was going to be king and then Saul tried to kill him. So many uh examples. Let's go to the gym. Let's explain the gym. Okay, you start going to the gym or you start walking. What happens to your body if you haven't done anything? You're freaking sore. It hurts. It hurts to move. It hurts to go back to the gym. It's painful. That's your disruption following your intention. So, so many times people give up like, I'm gonna go out there and put myself out there and then somebody's gonna say something negative or you're not gonna get the results that you want. So then you're gonna stop and pull back. That doesn't work. It doesn't work. Every major leap I've made in my business followed a moment where life tried to stop me every single time. Big investments, uh high cash months, big launches. Lack of sales after a big launch I was excited about, there's always disruption. The question is, are you gonna allow it to keep stopping you or are gonna move forward? When we are comfortable being invisible. Yeah. I believe that your comfort zone is your invisible zone. So if you are playing on a level that's very comfortable to you, your audience doesn't feel much from you. Because when we play in an uncomfortable discomfort level, we activate ourselves, we feel convicted about something, and we show up accordingly. The most magnetic people are not playing it safe. The most magnetic people are not playing small. The most magnetic people are not watering themselves down. They are the boldest in their way. Comfort feels safe today. Again, I've been here. Comfort feels safe today, but it costs you everything you want tomorrow. when you decide to shift your identity to the person that, for example, I can handle discomfort. Again, it's probably be followed with disruption, but we get to decide again, another, this is totally another Myron Golden quote, but he calls it a identity. Like, are you telling the stories in your head? Are you listening to them or are you getting rid of them and owning the true identity of who it takes to become the person you want to become or to get the results that you want to get? Plain and simple. If you wanna be uncomfortably visible, you have to step into a new identity. You can't keep going forward with the one that you've had, because it's not gonna get you to the next level that you wanna go. And that includes fear and disappointment and old stories. Create those identities that we have. They keep you hidden. But your true self, the visible, powerful leader that you are, has to be chosen and embodied. You have to make that split second decision to say yes to her. You don't need permission. You just need to decide any of these things that you felt called out on today to make the decision. You don't need people to validate you. Validate yourself. Visibility is a decision you make in a second. This uncomfortable visibility is a decision you make in a second and then you go act on it. So I want you to ask yourself, where are you hiding? Where are you diluting? Where are you still waiting on somebody to choose you? And because they're not choosing you, visibility isn't worth it. So I might as well just stop while I'm ahead. You get to decide right now, am I going to continue waiting? Am I gonna continue playing small, watering myself down? Am I gonna continue hiding in whatever way that that looks like in my own business? Or am I gonna show up as a true version of me, which is what people are gonna be more attracted to anyhow? Stretching yourself, pushing yourself, being a little bolder, being a little more sassy if that's who you are. The world doesn't need another copy. It really needs the real you, the authentic you, the vulnerable you. Fully being seen, fully being heard, fully activated, fully moving, fully convicted. Because you know that you have something that can change someone's life and you literally can no longer be quiet about it. You can't keep it to yourself anymore. You can't even keep it to the small circle of friends that when you post it three times on social media, you want it to have the furthest reach that it can have and so you do not stop. And when you're ready to stop the problems that invisibility is creating for you and your business. It's time to reach out to me, DM me, and find out where we can go next to create the most massive visibility strategy that you've ever created in yourself and for your business.
