will never forget going to one of the biggest conferences I'd ever been to in 2020. It was January of 2020 before everything happened. And I remember everybody was like leaving the conference. It was like a four or five day conference and everyone's leaving this, this one section. I'm like, where's everybody going? they're, just pitching. And I was like, Ooh, I don't want to be there for that. Like I don't want to get pitched to, I don't want to be sold to. mean, I a thousand dollars to show up to this event. The last thing I want you to do is try to sell me more. Okay. Very interesting. Fast forward two years, might've been a year and a half later. It might've been a 2021 event. And I remember that instead of running away from the pitch, I decided to watch the pitch. I want to watch you sell me something. It was a game changer. Even if I knew I wasn't gonna buy, like I wanted to see how he captivated the audience. I wanted to see how he talked about his offer, how he talked about the value, how he talked about the results. Like there was so much to learn from this instance. And I remember in 2022, when I went back, I was like, I wanna see the bitch. I wanna be immersed in this, like I wanna see it. And so I went to this event this weekend. And obviously when you haven't been to an event before, you wanna see all of the reviews, you wanna see all of the things that people are saying about it. most of the negative reviews are, they call this a Christian conference, but all they wanna do is make money and sell to us. Okay. That's like the worst thing you can say about this. They're just money hungry. They just want to sell. Here's the thing I'm going to say. This is why people struggle selling because they're complaining about these types of things. This is why people struggle growing a big business because they're worried about talking about their offers because they are probably the same people judging these people for making an offer from Sage. I went to a free Tony Robbins event. was a three day event a couple years ago. They sold and upsold in many different areas. I loved it. A lot of people complain. I remember going to a three day paid event that I was upsold to by Tony Robbins. They still upsold from that paid event. People complained. And it's like, if you're not a business owner, guess I don't really, it's whatever. But if you're a business owner and you are complaining about people upselling, that's your problem. That's where you get to really take a look at why does it bother me? years ago, I unfollowed someone on Facebook, I've told this story before, but I unfollowed somebody on Facebook who was a coach who talked about all of her money wins. She talked about her offers every single day. And she just kept going on and on and on and on and on. And I just got tired of it. I was done. I was triggered. I couldn't understand why she only talked about her money and how much money she made, and all of these things. And I was like, unfollow unfriend, whatever. About nine months later, I had done two money mindset courses, Denise Duffield Thomas, and think Amanda Francis at the time. And about nine months later, she shows up on my Instagram feed. I don't know if I was following her. don't really remember, but I realized it was the same person. I was like, oh my God, she changed. She didn't change. I changed. Just like that first Funnel Hacking Live event that I went to, to the next one, the one where I ran out like, don't want to be pitched to. I changed. And here's the thing if I would have if I would have allowed the words of somebody that you know was dissatisfied with this conference I went to last weekend if I would have allowed Their words to deter me because I thought oh my god, they're just gonna try to sell to me I would have missed out on so much. I would have missed out on so much gold. I would have missed out on so much I mean energy the the the reframes the learning the value All because I'm worried I don't want to be sold to. You know, one of the things I help people do is become the visible CEO where you're not going to be the visible CEO if you're visible, but your offers aren't. If you're visible, but nobody knows what you sell. If you show up on camera, but nobody knows how you can serve and support them and really transform and change their life. There is an exchange of energy that happens to actually transform someone's life. Back in 2021, I started my inner circle and I'll never forget the first training I taught something that I had actually taught for free in my free group. I don't know if I did it as a test, but it was a great test because I blew all of their minds. They had never been taught anything like that before. Now obviously it was an hour call. I probably did a 15 minute live maybe in the free group. So it was much more in depth. It was much more mastery. But regardless, the topic was really the same. It blew their mind. It was a game changer. Some of the people still tell me to this day, they'll never forget that first call. Some people that aren't even in my programming anymore still talk about that first call that they learned from me. The exchange of energy in the free group was not there. the exchange of energy in the paid inner circle call was there. When we pay for things that we feel like, that's, know, it's just $7 doesn't matter if I don't do anything with it. Okay. You're probably not going to get a life changing result out of that. I talked about this on a podcast episode last week. Like I don't care if it's $33. I don't care if it's a thousand. I don't care if it's 25,000. Like I'm going to have a return on investment. I'm going to learn. I'm going to grow. I'm going to evolve from it. But how many of you are visible? How many of you are afraid? And maybe you don't even know that you're afraid to sell, but you've talked so much smack about everybody else selling every single day and how much people charge that you have pushed yourself so far back. because you've judged so many other people for doing listen, I was there. I judged people. I judged people big time on how much they price things and how often they sold. And I realized really quickly, well, to be the visible CEO, like the necklace says to be the visible CEO, you actually have to own a business that's makes money. And you can't do that if you never talk about your offers. You can't do that if people don't know how. How you can transform their life or serve and support them or how you are the one that can help them with XYZ. This is a game changer. It's an absolute game changer. So where are you running away from the pitch? Where are you worried about everybody else's visible selling skills or visible money wins that you are running away from that or you are triggered by that. So you can't even show up on your own and actually talk about your offer because you've judged so and talk so much smack to other people about it. Again, I've been there. I'm not pointing the finger because I've been there. But when you become self-aware and when you can move past this, when you can grow past this, it's going to change your life. You don't have any feelings about the prices that you charge. You don't have any feelings about talking about your offers all the time. You're convicted, but you don't have any negative feelings, right? You're coming from a place of fact and conviction and the emotions that you feel when you see somebody get a result in your programming or in your offer, whatever it is that you sell. Can't be the visible CEO by just pressing go live a couple times a week. I don't care if you can't be the visible CEO if you go live every single day, but you never invite them. Not really a fan of the word selling, not really a fan of the word pitching, but inviting them to the next thing, inviting them to the next step, inviting them, giving them the invitation. what is the, there's like a meme or something that goes around on Facebook. Like I'm probably not coming, but I wanna be invited. So invite me, even if I tell you no, invite me. there was some psychology that I read. I'm gonna have to do a whole like live on this because it's fascinating about what goes through people's mind when they see an offer that they like. And but they're not ready, right? They're not ready the first time they may not be ready. And so the second time, oh, yeah, I really wanted I really wanted to explore that. But you know, maybe a kid comes in the room and the dog needs to go out. I don't know, right? The third time again, I really, I really want to get that. really want to get that. I don't know where my credit cards at. And the fourth time, they're on a call or they're doing something else and they know they're gonna buy it. but then there is never a fifth time. because you feel like you've sold too much. You feel like you've talked about it too much. It takes people 25 times of seeing something. to start build trust to purchase. Where are you judging everyone else's invitation, their pitch, their selling, them talking about money that you've judged so much that it's blocked you from ever doing it. It's blocked you from the success that you could have. This is all part of being the visible CEO. It all gets to be visible. The offers get the spotlight. You get the spotlight. Your offers get the spotlight. The transformations that you provide get the spotlight. The results you provide get the spotlight. It all goes hand in hand. So where are you blocking yourself? Because of the judgment and the things that you've said, here's the thing, I did it, I judged, now I don't. Now if something does bother me, I ask myself the hard questions, like why am I so concerned about this? Why is this bothering me right now? Dig deeper, figure it out. But at the end of the day, show the. Show the offers, share the offers, invite to the offers. Talk about them every single day. It is not too much for the person who wants to work with you. And if they unfollow you, guess what? I unfollowed somebody too. Then I ended up joining her for two years and paying for tons of her programming. It's not the end. You get to decide. This is a real business. This is a company. And I get to talk about the things that I know are going to transform someone's life, their year, their health, their business, whatever it ends up being. I can't keep it secret anymore. I get to invite on how to work with me. I'm doing all the work to be visible and to be known and to make an impact and create influence. The next step is you get to do the same thing through your offers.
