am a sucker when it comes to seeing what people are doing, specifically celebrities who run businesses or, you know, obviously millionaires, billionaires. I am a sucker for their strategies and sucker to hear what they're doing because I always find it fascinating. And so I watched Kim Kardashian's master class that she did and it was an hour and 20 minutes. I loved every bit of it. I didn't necessarily air quote, learn anything, but I loved every bit of it because so many of these things are what I teach. So many of these things are what I preach. So many of these things are the basics of what creates an amazing business that we forget to do, or it is not the neat, cool, shiny new thing. And so therefore we're not doing it. So I, want to talk about the back to basics and visibility, the principles we all still need to practice. In the first two to three minutes of this masterclass, the two things that she said that you need that are crucial to growth is visibility and confidence. She used the word visibility. So funny, because I remember in 2021, early 2021, someone told me that nobody knew what visibility or the word visible meant. And I had a program, I still have program called visible, but said I should change it because people don't know what I mean by that. Today, 2025, 2026, like everybody knows what visibility is and everybody wants more of it. And I find that so fascinating that I knew that it was gonna be, I knew it was a thing then, but I knew that that word was gonna come so, definitely a word that people were gonna use when it came to marketing and growing their business. We saw it in, 2022 or 2023, when Facebook would send you the notifications, you've been visible for x days. And I thought it was hilarious. The first one I got I think it said I've been visible for 30 days. And I'm like, I'm invisible for years. Like you're so behind on this. But thank you for thinking you know how to grade me on my visibility, right? So that is such a great reminder. let's dive into these because I know there's some things that you are gonna wanna implement that maybe you forgot, maybe you haven't been doing as consistently. And now that you're hearing them in a different perspective and technically from someone else that you know the priority these are for your business. So number one, you are the product. Now we talk about this a lot as being the face of our business, the face of our brand, right? We are the marketer. We are the CEO. We are typically the accountant. We are everything. We are the fulfiller, right? We do it all. But you are the product. This is so important, specifically in the age of AI where human first visibility is huge, right? And the thing I love that Kim framed this as people investing in you, not the thing that you sell. So this is like, your story, your faith, your values, your point of view, are your brand. When you remove the pressure and you show your convictions, like people feel safe buying from you. This is going back to that face to camera and presence over perfection. This is what attracts people to you. And I love, and I may repeat this again, but one of the things I love is she took everything that people said about her and she literally, they said about her negatively and she turned it into a brand. She took all the things she was made fun of and turned it into a brand. Like how many of us are so worried, people aren't even making fun of us, but we're making it up in our head that they're going to, so we just hold back. So I want you to think about what's a belief that you carry that would instantly deepen trust if you said it out loud more. What are you holding back on, right? The second thing is she said to define yourself before others do. What does this mean? This means what I say all the time. If you don't tell your story, if you don't tell why you do the things that you do, if you don't talk about your transformation, if you don't talk about your client's transformation, someone is making up a story about you. and it is their version, not your version. So Kim really talked about visibility as a vibe, like that people recognize across a room. When you focus on becoming known for a single sentence or a single niche, for example, right? That anchors your message and attracts the right clients. We wanna remember that clarity is kindness in marketing. Like clarity when it's clear to you and is clear to them, that creates a match online, right? Your audience should be able to describe what you do better than your bio does. And also you only have so many characters typically in a bio, right? And then we also wanna make sure that we're going back to basics and doing platform audits. we're auditing the platforms that we're on for clarity over being clever, right? Because if they don't get the cleverness that we're trying to put out there, we're speaking over them and not to them. And so I want you to challenge you if someone bragged about you at dinner, what would you want them to say about you? You're not in the room, you're not there, what would you want them to say about you? And that right there is how to own your identity and your message. Another thing that she said that really stuck out to me was do not follow the feed, be the feed. In today's day and age, we are scrollers, we are consumers. It's really hard to be more creator than it is consumer. But the people who stand out are putting the blinders on and they are only consuming to engage, consuming to build relationships. When you consume to fill your head and allow your head to seriously from one second go from cracking up laughing at something, some dog video to the next when you're angry because something political comes up on your feed. And then the next you're sad because somebody is, you know, trying to feed their family. this, this is the constant dopamine hits that social media gives us, but it leaves us exhausted. It drains our creativity. I want you to think about where are you being more of a consumer than you are being a creator. You know, I love, uh I love, love, love, love Myron Golden. And one of the things he always says is we were made in God's image, right? And the first thing that God says he is, is he is a creator. So why are we not creators? Creators just don't paint, right? They don't paint and do art and things like that. Yes, that is also a creator, but you can be creative in your craft and what you do. Kim called Instagram a magazine and really emphasized educating and storytelling as drivers to sales. Where are you not doing this? Where is your leadership? really standing out over trend chasing. We know that humans connect more deeply when we speak the truth that others are thinking. So this is a lot of identifying who your person is, but also speaking your truth. So where can you connect with your content more over algorithms, right? Like quit focusing on the algorithms and that it hates you and it doesn't like you. Where can you focus more on the connection that content can create? Your best growth comes from consistency, not gimmicks. This is not about going viral. We wanna go viral on somebody's heart, mind and soul and become unforgettable in the process, right? I don't need to go viral for that. And then also back to basics, like publishing the message is on your heart. Even if the lighting is bad, even if you don't look as good as you've... Normally do that day, even if whatever, fill in the blank. So I wanna ask you, like, where are you waiting on permission instead of just taking the leap and going first? You expect your customers to take the leap and say yes to you, where are you not saying yes to you? She also talked about knowing your worth and adding tax. And this is really, I talk about this a lot in, we are looking for other people, we're looking for sales, we're looking for views, we're looking for numbers and analytics to basically outsource our confidence. And one of the things that Kim talked about was how she leaned on other people for validation. And when she finally stepped out of that, number one, she saved a heck of a lot of time. But number two, she also was able to really just take it to the next level. Your pricing reflects your leadership and outcomes, okay? It's your pricing for a reason. So many people are like, what do I charge, what do I charge, what do I charge? Know your worth. Add tax when it comes to pricing, when it comes to what you know in your knowledge, your uh expertise, your authority. Also going back to basic, like having high trust decisions and clean sales conversations. and stop creating content to try to prove something or to try to convince someone. You don't need to do that. When you stand in your power and you know exactly who you are and what you're about. So I want you to ask yourself, like, where are you discounting yourself mentally long before there is a price tag? I love that she also said that empires are built before dawn. I talk about morning routines a lot. I talk about morning routines that really build visibility systems that work even when you're offline. In this particular instance, Kim's talking about discipline, about the unseen hours and protecting those unseen hours and also being easy to work with. So if you can take this truth and apply it to your content systems that earn visibility while life is happening, you win. We know that consistency creates authority. It may be ugly. It may not feel good. It may be hard. It doesn't equal instant gratification, right? But we also know that routines reduce anxiety and excuses. This is what I do. These are my non-negotiables. This is my morning routine. I do all of this before I do anything else for anybody else's business or however you like to say that about your business. When we set up a routine, really is going back to basics. One move a day. Once you get that consistent, add another. And this really is helping you stay visible while you live your life. And I want you to think about what is one discipline that would change your business if you recommitted it to it today. There are so many fascinating things about this conversation that she had. Whether it's defining yourself, again, telling the story before somebody else does, right? Tell your story, put it out there. You should talk about it so much that people know exactly who you are and what you do. Whether it is um the confidence and visibility or everything. How do I create that type of visibility and confidence, right? um Turn failure into strategy is another thing she said, right? Like every brand is gonna face some kind of backlash. Every brand is gonna face some kind of backlash, unless you're invisible. And that's a way to play it safe and play it small. But you're gonna have backlash and setbacks and things like that. What are you gonna do with it? And is it really noise or is it something that you get to make right? This is something that a founder, a CEO gets to decide, right? There are so many opportunities for you to really decide with collaborations, for you to decide what's going to help you grow your brand, but it doesn't matter how much you decide, you have all the choices in the world, but when you decide, you actually have to start taking action too. So where can you implement some of these? Where do you know that some of these basics and maybe things that you've decided are too basic for you aren't being implemented enough in your business? Where do you get to focus on that more? when you decide with conviction, with passion, with confidence that this is what you are doing, no matter what, no matter how many uh distractions or disruptions that happen. You understand that you're not doing anything to check a box because nothing sticks when you're trying to get it over with. Everything shifts when you have intention, when you choose what matters and you lead with conviction. That is when your audience becomes your raving fans and your raving fans become the most loyal customers and clients you've ever had.
